1956 Wow, what a year that was. Prince Ranier of Monaco married Grace Kelly. Elvis Presley released his first hit. The Summer Olympics were held in Melbourne, Australia. Rocky Marciano retired as the only undefeated Heavyweight Champion of the world with a perfect record. World Series - New York Yankees won 4 games to 3 over the Brooklyn Dodgers.
